The Dallas Arboretum is my new favorite place. I have been there a couple of times before today, but never during the Fall! What an experience. It was peaceful (even with a bus load of kindergarteners), enchanting and could not have been better weather. I loved that we had so many chaperones, the pumpkin class rocked and it seemed the only problem was there was not enough time to take in all the beauty! Please enjoy the pictures. Notice how tired they were by the end of the day.
Words cannot express how impressed I am with Ms. Rohman and this group of kindergartners. They both put together an outstanding performance. I must add all the parents did an amazing job on costumes and stage props! The program put Purefoy in the Thanksgiving mood. I am so thankful for each of these little girls and guys. Thank you for sharing them with me on a daily basis!
Our Star Students have LOVED having their Moms coming to read to the class. The kids have enjoyed hearing someone else besides myself too! What a treat all the way around.
and we have so much to be thankful for! We have been writing about it in Kindergarten. It is something our families will be sure to enjoy. we have met our new book buddies! They are so much fun to read with. and we are ready to perform our Thanksgiving play. We have spent a lot of time practicing and working on our parts as a whole Kindergarten. We cannot wait to show our parents on Thursday night. Thank you parents for all your help! and we are super busy....Here are our math stations this week! We are comparing objects by which is heavier and lighter, playing the game grab bag, practicing our positional words in block center and in math tubs, and we are working in small groups with our high school friend Ms. Madison from Wakeland. We love when she comes to visit. Take a peek.
Mrs. Lairsen is super excited to be coming back to Kindergarten this year. She is also elated to be opening up a new school with a fabulous new team. A few things about my self are:
I treasure spending family time with my husband, Brandon and my two little ones, Kinley and Kale. I squeeze my dog Gunner as often as I can. I LOVE Mexican food! Friends are the key to my heart. I am a True Red Raider!
I am looking forward to building a new relationship with all the new kindergartners at Purefoy Elementary!!!!
